Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop phenomenon is a star who has managed to cross from the country genre to mainstream pop culture and become an icon of the pop culture. She also conquered the entire globe during the course of her journey. Swift shed country like it was another layer, showing that she's possibly the most intelligent pop singer/songwriter of her time. A person who has the ability to tap into the current zeitgeist and make it personal and also sing in the other direction. This was evident in her first hits, particularly the Neo-tribute Tim McGraw but her second album, 2008's Fearless featured a singer-songwriter figuring out who she was and, in doing so, gaining the mass market. The album was a huge success, not just in America, but also with six platinum-certified songs. In fact, the Top Ten songs Love Story and the hit song You Belong with Me were the most important reasons. However, it did exceptionally well throughout the world. Speak Now delivered almost two years later consolidated that success and moved Swift towards the top of superstardom. She grew in popularity through her three subsequent albums - Red (2012), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift became a household name within the genre she was a part of. She stayed on top of the charts even when she dropped her own style on her sister albums Folklore and Evermore in 2020.
