Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where together with his three classmates He formed his own group, White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they were winners. The musician was always fascinated by music, but also wanted to become an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. In the past, he was employed for a short time in a bakeshop in his city to help economically at home. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. Because of this, the group he was in had to be separated. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. They performed The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In consequence, they were one of the finalist. The group was however placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell nevertheless paid two million dollars in cash to One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
