Dolly Parton was born on the 19th of January 1946 at Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived alongside 12 other kids. Her imaginative mind helped her escape from life's harsh reality. life. Porter Wagoner began looking for female singers to join his television show that was syndicated around the same time. Parton joined Grand Ole Opry 1969 after having signed to RCA Records. However, it wasn't until 1974 that she decided to leave Wagoner's band because the popularity of her individual records such as Joshua Coat, Many Colors, and Jolene had outstripped their collaborative efforts.
