Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28, 1967) was an American actress and singer. Wuhrer began her acting career as a teenager. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her family has given her three brothers. She began singing in clubs as a teenager, and often would leave her house to sing. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, singer and actress. Her acting career at the Wooster School when she was thirteen years old. Born in Brookfield Connecticut on the 28th of April, she was raised there. Her German-American dad is also an auto dealer as well as a police agent. Kari has three siblings. As an teen, she would perform in clubs by going away from home. Kari began studying acting when she was 13. Her next stage of study was acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, along with Uta Hagen who was a famous teacher. Kari started acting when she was in her teens, her first television appearance from 1987's MTV Remote Control.
